Assistant Coach
League of Legends, Rainbow 6, and Smash.

The assistant eSports coach is responsible for the instruction and supervision of student-athletes.  The primary responsibility of this position is to provide individual and team instruction, skill development, and techniques, conditioning and preparation for the team members.   He/she is expected to demonstrate leadership, sportsmanship, and conduct becoming of the coaching profession.  He/she is expected to annually review any rule changes relative to their sport, and to always adhere to all rules, regulations, and policies of the NACE/TESPA and its conference.

Requirements
  • Responsible for their team.

  • Stay current with the game’s meta as well as its pro-scene.
  • Utilize assessment results in decision-making to strengthen departmental services, programs/learning outcomes.

  • Conduct all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in compliance with LVC policies and procedures.

2020 NACE Convention

Join us for the third annual NACE National Convention in Kansas City, MO, from July 22 through July 24. This year will feature sessions and workshops suggested by our member institutions for the benefit of new and current esports programs. Members will have the opportunity to discuss new legislation initiatives, network with fellow NACE institutions, and learn more about NACE's plans for the 2020-21 academic year.
