Head Coach
Responsibilities: 
Anderson University Athletics will add esports in the 2020-21 academic year.  The esports head coach will be hired during semester II of the 2019-20 academic year to begin recruitment for the program.  The esports coach is responsible for short and long term program development and planning; including, but not limited to: recruiting qualified students for competitive varsity level teams, scheduling and coaching intercollegiate practices, matches, and tournaments.  Additional duties of the head coach include, but are not limited to; budget management and monitoring student’s academic progress.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required.  At least 2 years of work experience is preferred. Competitive level experience with multiplayer online video games, preferred. Esports coaching experience, collegiate varsity or club-level, preferred.  Expert knowledge of League of Legends, Rocket League and/or CS:GO.  Knowledge of NACE and related organization’s rules and regulations. Must have good organizational skills, oral and written communication skills and the ability to create a positive competitive experience. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment and ability to working with a diverse student population.
Must meet university lifestyle expectations.
Benefits: 12-month, benefit eligible position.

2020 NACE Convention

Join us for the third annual NACE National Convention in Kansas City, MO, from July 22 through July 24. This year will feature sessions and workshops suggested by our member institutions for the benefit of new and current esports programs. Members will have the opportunity to discuss new legislation initiatives, network with fellow NACE institutions, and learn more about NACE's plans for the 2020-21 academic year.
