Overwatch Head Coach
Head Coach for Overwatch varsity esports team is in charge of all coaching, recruitment, and operations for the respective esports competitive title. This includes various teams within the title competing at different competitive tiers. Head Coaches should prepare students for competitions throughout the academic year along with helping to advance their academic journey and career readiness.
UNewHaven offers Varsity, JV, and Academy Overwatch teams. |

| Requirements |
CORE DUTIES:
- Weekly coaching duties including VOD review, in-game coaching, and scrims
- Work with each team to schedule applicable conference matches, scrims, and LAN tournaments
- Reach recruiting goals set out by the Director each year
- Manage various means of communications to the teams including Canvas, Discord, and socials
- Perform other duties as assigned and necessary in order to meet the mission of the University and the division of enrollment management goals
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Professional or collegiate playing experience in the title required
- In Person availability preferred
- Background work experience in Esports, Sports, or Entertainment preferred
