Assistant Director, Student Engagement
Search Status: Application material received by November 1, 2021 will receive primary consideration. Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time 12-month position of Assistant Director, Student Engagement in the Center for Student Engagement. The Assistant Director is responsible to the Director to contribute to the implementation of Saint Francis University’s student life programming philosophy and will be the primary advisor to the SFU Greek Life Community as well as co-advise primary student life programs, including but not limited to: Saint Francis Esports, New Student Orientation, the Student Activities Organization, and the Student Government Association. The Assistant Director will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of all major weekends and student life traditions. The Assistant Director will serve as a general advisor for all recognized student organizations and the Esports program. The Assistant Director will work directly with club/organization members and officers as well as their respective faculty/staff advisors to maintain accurate records and to ensure accountability for the responsible usage of their allocated funding and the effective planning of their events and activities. Requirements Master’s degree required, preferably in student affairs or related field; Bachelor’s degree considered with proven success in student activities, Greek Life, leadership development, and event management. Experience with fraternity and sorority affairs as well as campus and community relations is required. Familiarity and knowledge of the Esports industry and program game titles is preferred.
